What Youth Ventures site are you based out of?
I live in Port Hope Simpson however my region is Lodge Bay- Cartwright.
What are some of your favourite hobbies?
Boating, Ski Dooing, Fishing, Crocheting…
What’s your favourite movie?
Anything comedy… Melissa McCarthy’s movies are so funny!
What is your favourite band?
Anything country… I particularly like Train
What is your favourite restaurant?
Do you have any pets?
No, not at the moment.
What does entrepreneurship mean to you?
Owning your own business!! Find something you love or have a passion for and turn it into money…
What is the coolest business you heard of?
Oh my, I’m not sure, there are so many of them!
What are you looking forward to most this summer?
To see lots of exciting businesses & attend all possible events/ festivals.
What are some interesting business opportunities you see in your region?
Anything that portrays our culture/ heritage, car wash, berry picker, photography, kiddie day camps, etc.
What do youth in NL need to know about Youth Ventures?
It’s an exciting program to be involved in, that we as Coordinators are here for them & will help them with their business in any way we can 😊
What is the most important thing people of any age who want to start a business need to know?
Don’t be afraid to take risks, research places that are out there to help offset costs, research its viability, etc.
